D.W. Hawkins fought in Iraq and Afghanistan, and spent a large chunk of his life in the military. He’s been in a motorcycle club and in college classrooms. He swam naked in the Potomac and survived a knife fight in a foreign country. He’s played his guitar on three separate continents. He’s probably on a watchlist somewhere, but he couldn’t tell you which.
Really, he’s just a guy who writes stories about wizards.
