Maarkov, hunted and half-broken, steals Maaz’s collection of artifacts and races through Shundov’s darkened streets, warning a city that will not listen. The capital teeters on the brink as the vile necromancer Maaz prepares his apocalyptic army, twisting corpses and shadows into weapons of war.

Scattered across Alderak, Dormael, Shawna, D’Jenn, and Bethany fight not only against their enemies but against the slow unraveling of their bonds. Trust wears thin as every revelation cuts deeper, and the Nar’doroc’s fragments draw them toward choices that will cost them more than their lives.
